Description: Fernando Sucre was born and raised in Chicago, and since coming to Fox River has been a model prisoner. Sucre¡¯s offense was holding up a liquor store with an unloaded firearm. He did so to secure enough cash to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend Maricruz, whom he had met three years earlier. The police were on the scene before he had a chance to flee and he was arrested immediately.
